You know there's a normal pattern that men's stubble follow along their face; well my facial hair kind of tapers off along the cheeks so that it doesn't completely fill the pattern and instead looks like there are a few stray hairs. How can I get the regular shape facial hair takes along the cheeks to the jawline?

It's genetic. There is nothing you can do (aside from hair plugs) that will let you grow more hair. Some people might tell you to shave that area and it will grow in thicker, but that is an old wives' tale. Shaving won't grow more hair or make your hair thicker or fuller.

it's not a big deal, if you really want facial hair you're going to have to wait for it to fill in, a lot of people's facial hair grows in in patches at a time, if it looks especially funky while it's still getting to the length you want just take a razor to it and get it symetrical each day so you don't get weird looks, trust me, i've never met a guy who could only grow pieces of a beard/goatee/moustache it can take longer for different guys sure, but it should all come in eventually.
