Can Nair be used to effectively remove a man's facial hair?

I was just wondering if I could use Nair as an alternative to shaving.

There is a product called MAGIC, which is like Nair but made specifically for black men's beards (so that the guys don't get bumps from ingrown hairs). You can find it in the ethnic section of any pharmacy in any larger town/city.

Works well on the bikini line, too.

I think it would work really good specially if you have sensitive skin.

You could use Nair, but I don't think it works as good as shaving. Plus they dont suggest putting Nair on your face.

No there are better product that are designed to treat facial hair. creams, waxes, or laser removal. Nair is to harsh to apply to the face it will or may cause very bad irritation.

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT PUT NAIR ANYWHERE NEAR YOUR FACE.

i made that mistake years ago, and you are looking at some serious misery for at least a month. ever get an ingrown hair after shaving. if so, just imagine every hair on your face ingrown, the red bumps, itching like mad, it'll make you CRAZY!!!!

This could be risky and it might not work. Face hair is very thick and will require more time. Faces are sensitive and can handle less time. You could end up with a burnt hairy face. I tried it on my chest, one time it worked well, the next time it burnt it.

I saw in the store the other day "Nair for Men" Didn't check it out to closely, but you might want to. As others have said, it's risky on the face, but if you are going to try it, tests a small patch first before covering your beard with it. It may save you some unnecessary discomfort.

Nair may irritate your skin. They make a hair remover like Nair designed for men's facial hair. It's a powder that you mix with water and put on. You can find it at the drug store with the ethnic hair care products. It is desgined for black men who get bumps from shaving. I've heard it works really well.
