Aveda vs. Biolage (maybe other brands too)?

I just got my haircut at an Aveda salon, and the girl there strongly recommended that I pick up some Aveda product. I wanted to shop around first.

Is Aveda really all that? I really liked feel the pomade and men's grooming cream gave my hair. Not to mention how damn sexy it smelled.

Currently I'm using Biolage normalizing shampoo and that's kept my hair pretty healthy, but it definitely could use some more. What I need is some conditioner, pomade, and a kind of styling/grooming cream. What do you recommend?

I think Biolage is an excellent product. It is one of my favorites. I will switch it once in a while. Although, they say Aveda is a good brand too. I believe it is organic. And it smells soooo good. I love their pomade.
