Also why do men ahve more body hair than women ? The purpose of men's body hair is to attract women to mate with them ? Or other reasons ?

Looks nice! Actually I think part of it is to attract women and signal sexual maturity. Pubic hair is for insulation, protection, wafting pheremones and absorbing moisture/keeping out bacteria.

I shave mine, it's easier to deal with that way and does not hold odor as bad.

I'm Italian and probably one step away from being considered part of the "Missing Link" when it comes to chest and body hair. My wife seems to find it attractive so I don't mess with it but if I found a source to sell it I'd be trimming and bailing that stuff as fast as it grew back...

You can't assume that every feature of your body is useful or functional. It may not be totally useless, but having hair there is primarily a sequela (consequence, side effect) of having high circulating concentrations of male sex hormones. Testosterone and other male sex hormones are vital for muscle growth/development, sex drive, etc., and if you happen to have high levels you get hair in strange places in the bargain.
